What is Paper Tape Measure and How to Use it?
In the last article, we have talked about steel tape measure and sewing tape measure.
Today we are going to talk about PAPER TAPE MEASURE.
What will you think of when you are hearing "PAPER TAPE MEASURE"?
"What is paper tape measure?" or "What does it use for?"
As it name ssuggests, paper tape measure is a tape measure made of paper. It features on soft, highly applied in medical measurement. Next let's see its specification as below.
About material:
Generally there are 4 types of materials for paper tape measure:
1. ART PAPER TAPE MEASURE (also named BOND PAPER TAPE MEASURE)
Features: Cheap, can be biodegradable. But disposable, non-waterproof and easily rip up.
2. LAMINATED ART PAPER TAPE MEASURE (also named BOND PAPER TAPE MEASURE)
Features: Cheap, good tear resistance, but disposable and non-waterproof.
3. TYVEK PAPER TAPE MEASURE (also named Dupont paper tape measure)
Features: Reusable, waterproof, tearproof. Imported material, slightly softer texture.
4. SYNTHETIC PAPER TAPE MEASURE
Features: Reusable, waterproof, tearproof. The surface feels slippery, slightly harder texture.
Remark: Patterns with large color blocks can only be printed on BOND PAPER.(like below picture.)
About size:
Standard width is 13 mm, 16 mm, 19 mm. Max
