Animal Weight Measuring Tape is made of ABS case, PVC coated fiberglass tape, and metal loop.

Case is 6 centimeters in diameters, and 2 centimeters in thickness. Size of tape is in 250 centimeters long and 14mm wide.

Scale of Animal Weight Measuring Tape is designed to be dual-sides. Obverse side is used to measure circumference, total length is 250 centimeters. On the reverse side there are two charts,

1) 1) One for the weight of the dead pig corresponds to each circumference in cm a weight in kilograms.

2)The other is for beef cattle and live weight dairy cattle

It is suitable for measuring dead pig, and living cattle. For example European milking breeds, cross breeds and zebu.

How to use Animal Weight Measuring Tape?

Step 1: Place tape around the cattle's/ pig's girth, just behind the front legs and cover the withers.

Step 2: Pull the tape just enough to gently depress the flesh.

Step 3: Observe where the tip of the tape meets the value in the table and read the weight.

Remarks:

1. When measuring, the pig should stand upright with its head upright as well.

2. To measure the weight of the pigs, match the girth with the weight of the dead pig according to the first chart.

3. For cattle, check the cattle weight on the back side of the girth size.

4. Please note that the weight of beef cattle and dairy cattle is different.
